Air New Zealand recorded 11.3% increase in domestic passengers in latest month

Air New Zealand (Air NZ) said 788,000 passengers travelled on its domestic network in May, up from 708,000 passengers in the same month in 2022. Domestic passengers carried for the 31 days reached 92.2% of the 855,000 domestic passengers the Star Alliance member flew in May 2019. Domestic capacity, or available seat kilometres, was 99% of the same month four years ago.
