Lufthansa Technik has secured a MRO long-term contract extension with Japan’s StarFlyer for basic inspections, boroscopy, aircraft-on-ground support, on-wing troubleshooting, engine condition monitoring, engine parts repair and complete overhauls on the CFM56-5B and LEAP-1A engines powering the carrier's A320 family aircraft.

Qantas Group has chosen Brisbane and Melbourne as the sites for its engineering academy, to be established in partnership with Aviation Australia. The inaugural student intake is planned for 2025.

Sabre is adding carbon emissions data from Google's travel impact model to point-of-sale tools for corporations and travel agencies.
