Airbus's final BelugaXL breaks cover

The sixth and final BelugaXL oversize transport aircraft has broken cover at the company's Toulouse facility paint shop. Read More » Images of the aircraft, based on the A330-200 freighter and powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, were posted by Airbus on social media last weekend. “Check out our latest (and last) #belugaXL as she gets ready to support outsized cargo operations,” Airbus said on social media. The BelugaXL fleet has replaced the five BelugaST aircraft, based on the A300-600 design, for the transportation of large components to support Airbus aircraft production.
