Philippine Airlines welcomes entry of United Airlines on U.S.-Philippines routes

Read More » In a statement issued after UA revealed this week it will commence nonstop San Francisco-Manila on October 29, the airline said: “Philippine Airlines welcomes additional competition on trans-Pacific routes as a sign of the strength and vitality of the air travel market between the Philippines and the United States. PAL always has embraced healthy competition among different players across our network.” PAL operates 37 flights weekly from the Philippines to U.S. destinations Guam, Honolulu, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
