China Southern Airlines posts 16.4% domestic passenger improvement for latest month

China Southern Airlines (CSA) said 12.8 million passengers flew on its domestic network in July compared with 11 million passengers in June. Read More » The results represented a 52.2% year-on-year increase, from 8.4 million customers, against the same month last year. Domestic passenger load factor for the 31 days was 80.5% compared with 79% in June and 70% in July 2022. The month’s domestic passenger total was 109.8% of the 11.6 million travellers CSA carried in pre-COVID July 2019. Capacity was 119.6% of the airline’s July 2019 available seat kilometres.
