BOC Aviation bounces back to profit in interim 2023

Lessor BOC Aviation has recorded a net profit of US$262 million for the six months to June 30 compared with US$313 million in net losses a year ago. Read More » Revenue declined 11.3%, to US1.1 billion, but costs were 50.4% lower at US$765 million, BOC Aviation said in a regulatory filing. “We saw strong demand for our aircraft and this was reflected in the growth we achieved in our balance sheet, income and cash flow,” BOC Aviation deputy managing director and chief financial officer, Steven Townend, said. “Our robust delivery pipeline well positions us to capitalise on rising airline customer demand for the young, fuel-efficient aircraft in our fleet.”
