India’s airlines book 24.7% year-on-year domestic passenger growth in July

Airlines across India carried 12.1 million domestic passengers last month compared with 9.7 million passengers in the same month in 2022. LCC IndiGo was the country’s leading domestic carrier for the 31 days with 7.7 million passengers, or 63.4% of the domestic market, followed by Tata’s Air India at 1.2 million passengers (9.9% market share) and Vistara at 1 million customers (8.4% market share).
