Greater Bay Airlines to partner with Hong Kong academy in pilot training

Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) and the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the training of local pilots in response to strong demand in Hong Kong and China. Read More » As part of the MoU, GBA will offer students and graduates of HKIAA's soon-to-launch cadet pilot program the opportunity to join the airline as second officers. “GBA’s network continues to expand since we commenced scheduled services in July 2022,” GBA chief operating officer, Liza Ng, said. “"I believe this program will benefit the airline by nurturing more pilots as we add more destinations and grow our fleet to meet market demand.” HKIAA president, Simon Li, said he was delighted his academy's cadet pilot program is being supported by Hong Kong-based airlines.
