Xiamen Airlines & Qatar Airways cement codeshare partnership

Qatar Airways will add its QR airline code on both services and Xiamen Airlines will place its MF airline code on Qatar Airways Doha-Beijing rotations. In a joint statement, Xiamen Airlines said it will be the first Mainland Chinese airline to operate nonstop passenger flights between China and Qatar. “The partnership of two five star airlines will bring wonderful flying experiences to customers worldwide,” Xiamen Airlines chair, Zhao Dong, said. Qatar Airways Group CEO, Akbar Al Baker, added: “We are proud and honoured Xiamen Airlines has chosen Doha as a new destination and its only destination in the Middle East. The airline’s flights are perfectly connected to our unparalleled global network that offers customers of both airlines greater choice and seamless travel experiences.”
