Boeing records orders for 45 commercial airliners and delivers 35 aircraft in latest month

Boeing received commitments for 45 commercial aircraft in August, increasing gross orders in 2023 to 624 airliners. Boeing delivered 35 airplanes to customers in the 31 days, increasing deliveries to 344 in the year to date. It was the lowest number of deliveries per month since last April. Clients accepted 22 737 MAXs in the reported month when MAX production was impacted by a manufacturing defect identified by supplier Spirit Aerosystems.
