Vietnam Airlines reports profit for 2014

Vietnam Airlines announced a gross profit of 647 billion dong ($30.3 million) for the 12 months to December 31, 2014, up 28% from a year earlier, the Saigon Giai Phong newspaper reported, quoting a company statement. The Hanoi-based carrier raised $51million in November when it sold a 3.47% stake in a domestic initial public offering. IPOs and listing are two separate processes in Vietnam.
