Boeing estimates Northeast Asia carriers will accept 1,350 commercial airliners into their fleets in the 20 years to 2042. Read More » The latest Boeing 2023-2042 Commercial Market Outlook (CMO) compares with the 2022 CMO forecast of 1,345 commercial aircraft delivered to Northeast Asia customers in the two decades. The deliveries are forecast to be 790 single-aisles, 520 wide-bodies and 40 freighters. “As international traffic recovers, Northeast Asia will continue to serve growing markets throughout the Asia-Pacific and on trans-Pacific routes to North America,” Boeing Commercial Marketing managing director Asia-Pacific, Dave Schulte, said. “We anticipate continued strong twin-aisle demand to serve short-haul and long-haul routes. Growing single-aisle deliveries will support an expected expansion of low-cost carriers in the region.”
