All Nippon Airways adds third A380 Tokyo Narita-Honolulu rotation to network

All Nippon Airways (ANA) said another A380 “Flying Honu” will begin commercial flying on October 20. Read More » The Star Alliance member said all three of the A380s, configured with 520 seats across four classes, will fly exclusively Tokyo Narita-Honolulu. ANA also operates to the Hawaiian capital from Tokyo Haneda. The 21 return flights each week offer 18,004 seats on the route, higher than ANA's pre-COVID-19 capacity between the two cities. “ANA deeply values the privilege of furthering an enduring connection between Japan and Hawaii,” ANA executive vice president for the Americas, Toshio Nomura, said. “Air travel is a catalyst for uniting individuals and fostering cultural exchanges. ANA remains resolutely committed to continuing to build a robust partnership with Hawaii, ensuring mutual growth and prosperity for the next 25 years and beyond.” ANA is celebrating 25 years of flying Tokyo-Hawaii this month.
