American Airlines appoints new Hong Kong boss 

Russ Fortson has taken up the position of Director Asia Operations for American Airlines, based in Hong Kong, responsible for airport operations in Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai. Read More » Fortson joins American from Cathay Pacific Airways serving as Manager Customer Services and Product Development, overseeing airport ground products and services worldwide for both Cathay Pacific and its subsidiary, Dragonair.


New GM at SIA in Taiwan

Nelson Kah Hock Low, 40, will take over as Singapore Airlines’ general manager for Taiwan, overseeing the company's national passenger and cargo sales and operations. Former general manager James Teo will return to the company's head office in Singapore to take charge of global corporate sales.

Prior to coming to Taiwan, Low served as Singapore Airlines' general manager for Bangladesh


Leadership changes at Boeing

Beverly Wyse is replacing Jack Jones (retiring) as VP & GM of Boeing’s Charleston, South Carolina, plant. Scott Campbell replaces Wyse as VP & GM of the 737 program at the Renton site in Washington. In turn, Campbell is succeeded by Brad Zaback as VP & GM of the 767 program, also at Renton. The positions all report to Pat Shanahan, SVP of Airplane Programs, Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
