Further conversations with the airline have revealed that it plans to also drop premium economy on its South Asian network. As such, the Hong Kong carrier’s services to Chennai, Colombo, Delhi, Hyderabad, Male and Mumbai will no longer officially carry the niche product from October onward. Having said that, This Week in Asia-Pacific Aviation understands that some of these routes will still operate with the three-class configuration (J39W28Y175) A330-300 aircraft, though only two classes will be sold (J39Y203).
