AirAsia Malaysia headed to Seoul

Read More » The flights will be evening departures from Kota Kinabalu and overnight services from Seoul. “We are thrilled to be the first Malaysian airline to connect Kota Kinabalu directly to Seoul,” AirAsia Malaysia CEO, Riad Asmat said. “This route holds immense potential for leisure and business travellers. With this expansion, AirAsia further cements Kota Kinabalu as our second largest hub in Malaysia with nine domestic and nine international destinations, boosting the city's status as a vibrant aviation hub.” While AirAsia Malaysia will be the only Malaysia-based carrier to operate the route, flight schedules show South Korea’s Air Busan, Jeju Air, Jin Air and T'way Air serve Kota Kinabalu. Additionally, Asiana Airlines will resume its seasonal service to the Sabah capital later this month. Sister carriers, AirAsia X, Batik Air Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines fly Incheon-Kuala Lumpur.
