Cathay Pacific celebrates cadet graduation milestone

Cathay Group CEO, Ronald Lam, said its cadet pilot training program celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2023 and noted more than 1,000 of the pilots employed by the group had graduated from the program. “In 2023 and 2024, we plan to recruit a record number of more than 800 cadet pilots and, for the first time, include China [applicants],”Lam said. “By the end of 2024, we expect half of our pilots to have joined us through the cadet program.”
