Asiana Airlines to conduct voluntary passenger weight survey

Asiana Airlines has started a voluntary survey of passenger body weights on some domestic flights operating from Seoul Gimpo Airport. Read More » The survey, which began on December 12 and will conclude on December 21, is being conducted in accordance with South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport notice for safe operations. The data is collected anonymously and will be used exclusively for the calculation of average body weights. Passengers can approach Asiana staff if they do not wish to be measured. Korean Air conducted a similar survey earlier this year.
