China Airlines flew 800,189 passengers in September

Taiwan’s China Airlines (CAL) transported 867,880 air passengers in September, up 221.9% from the 269,589 passengers it carried in the same month a year ago. Read More » CAL generated TW$7.7 billion (US$245 million) in passenger revenue for the 30 days, 134.5% higher than the TW$3.3 billion it collected in the same month in 2022. Compared with pre-COVID-19 levels, CAL's September passenger total was 67.5% of the 1.2 million customers it flew in the matching 2019 month. Passenger revenue was 107.4% of the TW$7.2 billion CAL booked four years ago. Capacity offered was 87.4% of the flag carrier’s November 2019 operations.
