Indonesia’s regulator lifts temporary grounding of 737 MAX 9

The Indonesia Ministry of Transportation's Directorate of Airworthiness and Aircraft Operations conducted direct inspections of Lion Air’s 737 MAX -9s and evaluated the LCC’s inspection reports in the decision-making process, it said. The regulator spoke to Boeing and the U.S.’s Federal Aviation Administration and concluded the emergency exits of Lion Air's three 737 MAX 9s, registration PK-LRF, PK-LRG, PK-LRI, were not affected by airworthiness directive (AD) 2024-02-51 and DGCA AD 24-01-001-U.
