Air India commences A350-900 operations

Read More » Flight tracking websites showed the Star Alliance member's A350-900, registration VT-JRA, operated three sectors as AI589 on January 22, starting with Bengaluru-Mumbai, followed by Mumbai-Chennai and then Chennai-Bengaluru. Air India said the A350-900, delivered to the flag carrier last December, initially will be flying between Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai for crew familiarisation purposes before transferring to the carrier’s international network. The airline’s A350-900s are fitted with 28 business, 24 premium economy and 264 economy class seats.
