Today's briefs report news from Embraer, Eve Air Mobility, FACC, Honeywell, Menzies Aviation, SriLankan Aviation College and Thales. Read More »

Embraer has welcomed its first students to its three year aviation mechanics course, launched in Sorocaba, Brazil in partnership with Athon College and EWM.

Eve Air Mobility has named FACC (horizontal and vertical tail), Honeywell (guidance, navigation and external lighting) and Thales (air data sensors) as suppliers for its electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

Menzies Aviation has announced the acquisition of 50% of Jardine Aviation Services Group (JASC) from Jardine Matheson. China National Aviation Corporation (CNAC) holds the remaining 50% of the Hong Kong-based JASC, which will be renamed Menzies CNAC Aviation Services Limited. The transaction requires regulatory approval.

SriLankan Airlines said its SriLankan Aviation College training arm has joined the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) regional training partner network.
