Australia's Alliance Aviation posts 300% interim profit increase

Charter and fly-in/fly-out airline, Alliance Aviation Services, reported a net profit of A$26.3 million (US$17 million) for the six months to December 31, up from a A$6.6 million net profit in the same months in 2022. Read More » Revenue was higher by 27.2%, at A$299.4 million, Australia headquartered Alliance said in a regulatory filing. “The performance of Alliance in the first half of the financial year continues to highlight the strength of our business, which has grown in both activity and financial results,” Alliance managing director, Scott McMillan, said. The company forecasts earnings will improve in second half 2023-2024. “We know there is incredible demand in Australia for 100 seat jet aircraft,” McMillan said. “We are perfectly positioned to capture this demand.”
