Pierre Beaudoin, grandson of Bombardier founder Joseph-Armand Bombardier, has stepped down as chief executive at the Montreal-based manufacturer. Read More » He has been succeeded by Alain Bellemare, who until last month led United Technologies Corp.’s aerospace division. Beaudoin, 52, will continue as Bombardier’s executive chairman. Bombardier posted a full-year $1.25 billion net loss in 2014, which it attributed to a $1.4 billion write-down related to the cessation of its Learjet 85 programme.
