Regulators approve extension of Air New Zealand-Singapore Airlines joint venture

Read More » The two Star Alliance members said the decision will allow them to continue offering customers more value, greater options and access to a wide global network. “Over the course of the 10-year partnership, ANZ and SIA have grown seat capacity between New Zealand and Singapore by nearly 50% and carried more than 4.6 million passengers between New Zealand and Singapore,” a joint airline statement said. The two carriers will operate four daily seasonal services between Auckland and Singapore from October 27 this year to March 29, 2025. The two carriers will jointly operate 38 return services a week between New Zealand and Singapore in peak months and plan for a combined annual capacity of 893,000 seats.
