Vietjet launches two international routes from Hanoi

Read More » The LCC will inaugurate twice a week Melbourne-Hanoi on June 3 alongside its established Ho Chi Minh City-Melbourne service. Melbourne Airport chief of aviation, Jim Parashos, said the LCC’s Hanoi-Melbourne route reflected opportunities in the Australia-Vietnam market after the two countries updated their air services agreement in late 2023. “The expansion of bilateral agreements gives airlines like Vietjet the certainty they need to invest and expand operations in Australia,” Parashos said. Vietjet added twice weekly nonstop Hanoi-Hiroshima will take off on May 12.
