British Airways increasing peak season London-Tokyo flights

British Airways (BA) will operate seasonal double daily London Heathrow-Tokyo Haneda from the end of the month to next October. Read More » At present, the oneworld alliance member flies daily return between the two airports with a mix of 787-9s and 777-300ERs. On March 31, BA’s A350-1000s, fitted with its new business class, will join the two types in servicing the route. “We are excited to be launching our A350-1000 fleet on our Tokyo route. We have flown to the city for 75 years and counting,” BA director networks and alliances, Neil Chernoff, said. “The A350 and our new club suite business class seat will deliver new levels of comfort and privacy to our Japanese customers so they can start their journeys in style.”
