Boeing has received commitments for eight 777-9Xs and options for up to 12 more of the type from Ethiopian Airlines.
Eve Air Mobility reported a net loss of US$127 million for calendar 2023 compared with a net loss of US$174 million in the previous year. The electric vertical take-off and landing company said cash consumption was US$97.7 million last year from US$59.9 million in 2022. “With current total liquidity in excess of US$300 million, we feel comfortable that our financial position is sufficient to fund our research and development requirements as well as operations through 2025,” Eve Air Mobility CEO, Johann Bordais, said.
HAECO’s Xiamen shop has inducted its first Emirates Airline A380 for a 6Y check as part of a recently signed long-term agreement between the MRO and the Gulf carrier for an expanded range of maintenance services for the carrier’s A380s.
Qatar Airways Cargo retired its last 747-400F on March 1.
