Read More » The Qantas Group LCC will increase weekly services in peak periods to Darwin from Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide and from Sydney to Uluru when demand dictates. Additionally, from July 3, the carrier will upgrade Melbourne-Darwin to an A321ceo rotation and fly the larger A321neo LR Adelaide-Darwin-Bali. The revised schedule will add 54,000 seats a year to and from the Northern Territory, a 12% increase compared with existing services. Around 22,000 of the new seats will be available for Sydney-Uluru. Once flying, the A321neo LR will allow the LCC to add 2,200 seats Darwin-Bali from August to October. “Bali is an international gateway through which Territorians can access Jetstar’s extensive network across Asia and jump onto Qantas and codeshare and interline partners to the Middle East, Europe, the UK and beyond,” Jetstar’s executive manager, customers, Jenn Armor, said.
