Air China posts 49.9% passenger growth in February

Air China flew 13.3 million passengers last month, up 49.9% from 7.2 million customers it transported in February 2023. Read More » Domestic passenger numbers increased 36.3%, to 11.7 million, and international passengers carried were 973.3% higher at 1.2 million air travellers. The traffic update said capacity, measured by available seat kilometres, rose 51.4% in the month and the passenger load factor improved nine percentage points to 82.5%. The airline group's fleet stood at 908 aircraft at the end of February, unchanged from the end of January. During the month, Air China added two 737 aircraft and retired two aircraft – one 737 and one A330.
