Atlas Air Worldwide will fly a second 777F freighter for YunExpress under a long-term charter agreement. Read More » The route is scheduled to commence in May as part of an expanded partnership with the Zonteng Group subsidiary. The freighter will operate six times a week between the U.S. and China, alongside the first 777F freighter Atlas Air Worldwide is operating for YunExpress between Miami and Xiamen. “We are delighted to expand our strategic and long-term partnership with YunExpress,” Atlas Air Worldwide CEO, Michael Steen, said. “Cross-border e-commerce is driving significant demand for our dedicated large wide-body freighter capacity. Through our partnership with YunExpress, we are strengthening our position as the preferred supplier of dedicated air freight capacity to leading players in the e-commerce industry.” Zongteng Group president, Wang Zuan, said: “Through YunExpress, we aim to meet the growing demand for air freight capacity between China, Europe and North America. Looking ahead, we intend to expand routes and fleet size to provide customers with more convenient and diverse global transportation options.”
