Malaysia Airlines and IndiGo establish codeshare and cooperation partnership

Earlier this week, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and IndiGo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to codeshare and build mutual cooperation. Read More » Under the MoU, MAS will strengthen its connectivity with India as the marketing carrier on IndiGo-operated flights and IndiGo customers will have access to more Southeast Asia destinations through MAS network. “This partnership will not only offer a seamless travel experience between India and Malaysia but enhance international trade opportunities by improving accessibility. This codeshare is in line with our vision of providing access to an unparalleled network while delivering on our promise of providing on-time, affordable, courteous, and hassle-free travel experiences,” IndiGo CEO, Pieter Elbers, “With India being our largest international market, we are delighted to enter this MoU with IndiGo to widen our reach beyond the nine hubs and 71 flights a week we operate within India,” Malaysia Aviation Group managing director, Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, said. MAS flies to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar and Trivandrum.
