All Nippon Airways establishing US$53 million venture capital fund

Read More » The ANA Future Frontier Fund L.P., will have a fund of 8 billion yen (US$53 million), the airline group said. “Our corporate strategy is focused on three pillars: maximising airline profits, expanding non-airline revenue and expanding ANA Group's ecosystem for sustainable growth. Today's (April 9, 2024) announcement supports expanding the broader start-up industry to benefit society,” ANA CEO, Koji Shibata, said. “We will launch the ANA Future Frontier Fund to partner with innovative start-ups. We want to instil our legacy venture spirit that has been rooted in the company since ANA was founded in 1952 with just two helicopters, with the agility offered by start-ups to create ground-breaking value.”
