Jin Air has reached agreement with Komy Co. to install Komy Mirror in the overhead stowage bins of its 22 aircraft fleet. The airline said some passengers and cabin crew were climbing on seats or armrests to check overhead stowage bins for forgotten items. This not only causes damage to the cabin equipment, but puts them at risk of falling from a higher place, Jin Air said. Installing mirrors will reduce this behavior and speed up the boarding and de-boarding process, it added.

Sintavia, an all-digital aerospace component manufacturer, has announced its largest expansion in facilities and equipment since 2019. The $25 million investment will provide additional advanced manufacturing space, large format printers, large format post-processing equipment and component testing equipment.

Collins Aerospace has been selected to improve the passenger experience by streamlining processing and self-service kiosks at Narita International Airport Corporation.

The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd (COMAC) is engaged in joint research meetings for its in-development C929 wide-body, bringing together academics, scientists and engineers, as well as government officials, from across the country, to advance the jet project, FlightGlobal reports.

The Sustainable Aviation Buyers Alliance (SABA) has announced the largest number of deals to purchase high-integrity SAF certificates (SAFc) in its history. The buyers have committed to channeling close to $200 million into purchasing SAFs equal to about 50 million gallons of high integrity SAF or 500,000 tons of abated CO₂.
