Air Canada to increase Asia-Pacific capacity by 30%

Air Canada’s international capacity to the Asia-Pacific in the northern hemisphere summer scheduling season will expand by 30% compared with the same period in 2023. Read More » The Star Alliance member operates 87 flights a week to the region. In addition to recently launched nonstop Vancouver-Singapore, Air Canada will increase services from Canada’s west coast to Hong Kong, Osaka Kansai and Seoul Incheon and also fly nonstop Toronto-Kansai and Montreal-Incheon from June to October. “With continued high demand for visiting friends, relatives and leisure travel, our increased services to key destinations give customers more options than ever,” Air Canada executive vice president for revenue and network planning, Mark Galardo, said. “We have continued to build scale at our Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver hubs, with each of the ports offering convenient and easy connections and Maple Leaf Lounges and Signature Suites in Toronto and Vancouver for our premium customers.”
