Thai AirAsia passengers flown increased 19% in first quarter

Thai AirAsia (TAA) transported 5.5 million passengers on its domestic and international networks in the three months to March 31 up from 4.6 million air travellers in the same months a year ago. Read More » Passengers carried were 93% of pre-COVID-19 numbers for the quarter, TAA parent company, Asia Aviation Public Company Limited (AAPC) said. Capacity, or Available Seat Kilometres, grew 28%. The LCC’s fleet increased by two jets, to 56, and is on track to be flying 60 aircraft by year-end.
