China's state planner has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus to deepen aviation cooperation, China’s Xinhua news service reports.
Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) has received a certificate of endorsement from De Havilland Canada, the manufacturer of Twin-Otter aircraft. It recognizes the TMA’s MRO standing. The airline is the first in Asia to receive the De Havilland MRO stamp of approval.

The National Composites Centre in Bristol, Britain has designed and manufactured one-off flying parts for the Airbus innovative eXtra Performance Wing project.
