China's state planner has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus to deepen aviation cooperation, China’s Xinhua news service reports.

Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) has received a certificate of endorsement from De Havilland Canada, the manufacturer of Twin-Otter aircraft. It recognizes the TMA’s MRO standing. The airline is the first in Asia to receive the De Havilland MRO stamp of approval.

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has released its second digital space for the exchange of information on air taxis and drones with a focus on privacy issues.

The National Composites Centre in Bristol, Britain has designed and manufactured one-off flying parts for the Airbus innovative eXtra Performance Wing project. The wing demonstrators are being used in an Airbus project that aims to optimize wing aerodynamics and aircraft performance with hinged wingtips inspired by the biomimicry of seabirds.
