Skymark Airlines 737-8 delivery delayed until at least July next year

Skymark Airlines announced on May 15 that it will not take delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX until at least the second quarter of financial year 2025 (July to September 2025) due to delays at Boeing. Read More » Originally, the delivery was planned for FY2025 first quarter. The carrier has a total of up to 12 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on order, six 737-8s from leasing companies and four firm orders, and two options for a mix of 737-8s and 737-10s directly from Boeing. The delayed deliveries will come from leased aircraft batches, while the deliveries of the airplanes directly ordered from Boeing will commence in FY2026.
