Egyptair decides on Hong Kong and Xiamen for expansion of Asia network

Egyptair plans to open Cairo-Hong Kong and Cairo-Xiamen, the airline’s vice president commercial, Amr Adawy, said this week at ITB China in Shanghai, and added China is among Egyptair's top three markets worldwide. Read More » The Star Alliance member operates seven times a week from Cairo to Guangzhou and also to Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou, each at three times a week. From July 14, the flag carrier will add a fourth Cairo-Shanghai service to its China network. Mainland media has reported the airline also will fly an expanded schedule to Beijing from the Egyptian capital.
