Singapore Airlines and Riyadh Air unveil commercial partnership

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Saudi Arabia-headquartered start-up, Riyadh Air, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will establish an interline and codeshare agreement between the two carriers as well as offering passengers reciprocal frequent flyer benefits. Read More » The two airlines also will work together on cargo services, among other areas of cooperation. Riyadh Air is scheduled to commence commercial operations in 2025. “This win-win strategic partnership with Riyadh Air will enable us to offer even more options, enhanced connectivity and greater benefits to our customers,” SIA CEO, Goh Choon Phong, said. “Together, we can facilitate the growth of passenger travel between Saudi Arabia and Singapore, and beyond, via our respective networks, supporting tourism and business links.” Riyadh Air CEO, Tony Douglas, said: “Our strategic partnership with Singapore Airlines unlocks significant benefits for our future guests as it grows our network in partnership with the world’s best airline.”
