Narita Airport planning to integrate terminals into one mega complex by mid-2030s

Greater Tokyo’s Narita International Airport is proposing to combine its three terminals into one by the 2030s, the airport operator has announced. Read More » The single terminal will open up more space for aircraft with parking bays to increase by 30 to 190, the airport operator said. The first phase of the terminal development is planned to be undertaken from 2030 to 2034, Narita International Airport said. It added the construction of the second phase, a 1.15 million square metre mega-terminal, will depend on air travel demand. The airport is on track to open its third runway by March 2029.
