Air China passengers increase 19.7%; international travellers up 205.7%

Air China flew 12.7 million passengers in May compared with 10.6 million passengers in the same month in 2023. The Star Alliance member's traffic update said capacity grew 13.9% in May from a year earlier and passenger load factor was 10.2 percentage points higher at 78.3%. Air China's aircraft stood at 915 on May 31 after an ARJ21-700 joined its fleet during the month.
