Air India introducing premium economy to narrow-body fleet

Read More » AI plans to install the three class configurations on all its narrow-bodies in the next year. Existing aircraft are being progressively reconfigured while new aircraft to the fleet will offer the new Air India cabin experience. “The introduction of a three-class cabin to Air India’s narrow-body fleet and the commencement of interior refits are important steps in the journey of enhancing the flying experience. The upgrade complements the enhanced wide-body experience now available on our A350s and new 777s. All our other wide-bodies will be refitted in the next two years. This comprehensive up gradation of Air India’s physical product is an important component of transforming us to a world-class airline,” Air India CEO and managing director, Campbell Wilson, said.
