Vietjet and the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Laos have agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement multiple aviation projects, including the LCC’s establishment of an MRO facility in Laos.

DB Schenker has become the largest contributor to Cathay Pacific’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) program. The German forwarder has committed to buy 878 tonnes of SAF from the airline.

Hydrogen propulsion developer, ZeroAvia, has secured additional funding from American Airlines and identified a new backer, Japan’s ITOCHU Corporation, as it progresses to certification of its entry-level hydrogen-electric powertrains in 2025.

Philippine Airlines is introducing SMS notifications to update its passengers on their flight details.

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is supporting the scale up of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), via the European Union (EU) SAF Clearing House that will remove barriers to deployment of SAF and pathways to its take-up.
