Vietnam Airlines to launch Hanoi-Phnom Penh in October

In conjunction with the State visit of President To Lam of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Vietnam Airlines announced it will begin nonstop direct four times a week flying between Hanoi and Phnom Penh from October 27 with A321s. Read More » The service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. At present air passengers traveling from Hanoi to Phnom Penh must transit through Vientiane in Laos. The new route will increase the Vietnamese flag carrier’s Vietnam-Cambodia network to five by October 31, including Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City-Phnom Penh; Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City-Siem Reap and one Indochina route increasing its schedule into Cambodia to 86 a week.
