It includes actively exploring a return to the North American market, with Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles and Seattle under consideration,” Hong Kong Airlines chair, Jeff Sun, told Bloomberg this week. The HNA Group carrier is looking to add a second-hand 787 to its fleet and at least another three aircraft to support resumption of North American routes.
