Korean Air expanding East Asia network

Korean Air (KAL) will increase its East Asia flights to meet travel demand. Read More » KAL will resume Seoul Incheon-Mudanjiang and Busan-Qingdao on October 22 and December 1, respectively, after a four-year hiatus. Seoul Incheon-Mudanjiang will operate five times weekly and Busan-Qingdao will be flown daily. KAL upgraded Seoul Incheon-Zhengzhou to daily from August 12 and will increase Seoul Incheon-Xiamen to seven days a week at the start of next month. From September 10, Seoul Incheon-Taichung will operate four times weekly and become daily from October 27. On the same day, KAL will re-launch seasonal four times a week Seoul Incheon-Nagasaki, after a break of more than 11 years, and Seoul Incheon-Osaka from this week to October 26 at four times daily. By December, KAL’s network to China will reach 95% of December 2019 capacity and Korea-Japan services are forecast to be 106% of pre-pandemic capacity, the airline said.
