Emirates Airline requests cancellation of Singapore-Melbourne

Emirates Airline has filed a submission to the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) to end its Singapore-Melbourne service. Read More » The Gulf carrier will decide the termination date after it receives a final CCCS assessment of releasing its capacity commitments set out in an alliance with Qantas Airways. The airline has operated the route since 1996 except for a three-year suspension during the pandemic. Emirates will continue four times daily Singapore-Dubai, double daily Melbourne-Dubai and twice daily Melbourne-Singapore via its Qantas code-share. Singapore-Melbourne also is serviced by Singapore Airlines (SIA), Qantas Airways, Jetstar, Scoot and Turkish Airlines.
