Lufthansa Cargo boosting capacity to meet peak winter air freight demand

Lufthansa Cargo’s recently published winter 2024-2025 schedule introduces a new trans-Pacific route between Asia and the U.S. and additional freighter capacity to India and Taipei. Read More » The winter timetable includes 89 weekly 777F freighter flights worldwide, an increase of seven rotations from the summer 2024 timetable. For the coming winter season, it has added a once a week Frankfurt-Ho Chi Minh City-Los Angeles-Frankfurt rotation. It is Lufthansa Cargo’s first direct connection from the Asian market to the U.S. It also will increase frequencies in India and China after the entry into service of its 18th B777F freighter. In the Asia-Pacific, it will add a flight a week to Mumbai and Taipei and service Chennai twice weekly in combination with Hyderabad or Mumbai. With the recent additions of Shenzhen and Zhengzhou to its network, Lufthansa Cargo offers 50 frequencies a week to Asia.
