Jetstar to launch three routes to New Zealand in mid-2025

From June next year, Australia’s Jetstar intends to fly from southern Queensland’s Gold Coast to Dunedin and Hamilton and also from Sydney to Hamilton. Read More » The Gold Coast routes will operate three times a week and Sydney-Hamilton four times weekly. Hamilton, on New Zealand’s north island, is a new destination for the Qantas Group LCC. Jetstar CEO, Stephanie Tully, said the two Gold Coast routes are supported by a recent seven-year agreement between Qantas Group and Queensland Airports. “Tourism is a key industry on the Gold Coast and the new agreement with Queensland Airports will support the growth of inbound tourism and provide a big boost to local operators,” Tully said. “It is great news for customers as the routes will unlock more than 115,000 new low-fare seats a year between the Gold Coast and Hamilton and Dunedin.”
